Another gold award is dyeing technology, which currently produces 1 ton of clothes and uses 200 tons of water. The center develops solvent-assisted dyeing for natural fibers, which consumes only one-tenth of the water used in general dyeing methods. It saves water and the environmentally friendly solvent used can be recycled. This technology is ideal for coloring, reducing the cost of wastewater treatment and making it environmentally friendly.
In addition, the center develops "chitosan spinning technology", which converts crab shell into spinning with antibacterial properties, which reduces skin growth and promotes wound healing by inhibiting bacterial growth. This project has won the gold award. In addition to the medical products, the technology can also produce baby and elderly clothing. At present, two local clothes and household products companies have signed contracts and applied technology for mass production.
